中正大学地球与环境科学系暨研究所（Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences and Research Institute of Applied Grophysics and environmental Sciences Institute of Seismology,National Chung Cheng University）在1994年作为应用地球物理研究所成立。1997年度成立博士班。
